What are the benefits of private 1-2-1 yoga?

Injury Support & Prevention

Looking after your body is so important, especially if you’re dealing with an injury, recovering, or simply wanting to prevent one. With my background in nursing and health education, 10 years of teaching yoga, and additional training in yoga for back care and palliative care, I offer a safe, compassionate, and knowledgeable approach to your practice.

Move safely and with confidence
If you’re managing an injury or returning to movement, it’s natural to feel unsure. In our one-to-one sessions, you’ll be guided every step of the way, helping you rebuild strength and mobility without risking further strain.

Tailored to your body’s needs
No two bodies, or injuries, are the same. Whether you’re working with back pain, joint issues, limited mobility, or recovering from illness, your sessions are thoughtfully designed around you. My clinical background and specialist training allow me to support you with a deeper understanding of the body and gentle, appropriate movement.

Prevent injuries before they happen
Private yoga isn’t just about recovery, it’s also about prevention. By improving alignment, strength, and flexibility, we can address imbalances early and reduce the risk of future injuries, particularly supporting spinal health and overall function.

Go at your own pace
There’s no pressure to keep up or push beyond your limits. You’ll move in a way that feels right for your body, with careful guidance and supportive adjustments to keep you safe and comfortable.

Build long-term body awareness
Together, we’ll develop a better understanding of how your body moves and what it needs. This awareness helps you feel more confident, both on and off the mat, and supports your long-term health and wellbeing.
